| Online fraud is growing problem, there are many different kind of scams. Animal scams is a very common occurrence unfortunately. Please notify us immediately if you think you are being scammed so we can get them off of our site. Our customer service team is working diligently to prevent this from happening on our site. Our goal is to raise awareness to sellers about the scam attempts that can hurt them directly. What to watch out for: 1. A buyer that wants to send you a money order or cashier\'s check, usually over the amount you are asking. 2. A buyer that wants you to make unreasonable guarantees. 3. A buyer requests to send the extra payment to their \"shipping agent\" who will be picking up the puppy. 4. A buyer that will not contact you personally by phone. 5. We always suggest you do not ship an animal or let someone take it home until your payment has cleared. If they pay with Paypal it is safest to wait until the Paypal has cleared your account so they can not reverse the payment. We do not suggest any one except Cashier\'s checks or Money orders, they are too easy to duplicate. If you do give a refund make sure the money has cleared your account before doing so. If you feel a buyer could be a scam artist then email all buyer information and email correspondence to scamalert@yournextanimal.com . We can research the account and remove scam accounts so that others will not be affected. Collect all your correspondence (e.g.; email, letters, payment) to give to your local authorities. You can also report them to the Internet Crime Complaint Center (www.ic3.qov). |
